My daughter entered Kindergarten last yr and is now in 1st grade. I must say the school exceeded my expectations, from the school's administration to teachers. The campus is very well maintained, always clean.

My son has been in this school for 3 years and I can honestly say he had a very good experience. Everyone in the school from the administrative staff, teacher's, counsellor, cafeteria staff and the principal are very kind and available to respond to any concerns we had. Teachers are very attentive and helpful. In all we had a wonderful experience in this school.

No water allowed in pre-k class. We are living in texas, such a hot weather and poor kids don't allow to take water in school or water fountain is not near the class. There is no communication between teacher and parents ,so if you have any concern about your kid you can talk to teacher The teachers are not so great and they don't look the performance of the kids and doesn't support much if the student is weak in some area.

My daughter is a 1st grader and My experience with the school has been has not been so well. First off my daughter rides the school bus and I was late picking her up just one day and They told me that next time I am late getting her off the school bus that they will suspend her from riding the bus. Okay so what about all the times the bus driver was late picking them up... Also let me remind that she is not bringing homework home. when asked about the homework the teacher response was 'I dont give homework because the students work so hard all week, and if i know I am drained and they are too. Yet my child has not brought home anything that they do in class other than papers wanting money! I have no problem participating but I need some better feed back.

This school is off to a great start! My child started last year as a kindergartner and is now in first grade. I'm so grateful to have her in this school as it is in Irving but somehow is with Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District which I see as a big benefit! I love the staff and am excited to become more involved in the PTA as I am able. As a public school I think they do a wonderful job!

La Villita is a very young school with a very bright future. While the building itself is beautiful, it is the work that goes on inside of these walls that truly shines. The administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, all the way to our custodial staff have a warm and inviting demeanor with your child's best interest at the root of all we do. The PE, Art and Music teachers also do all they can to keep our students well-rounded creative thinkers. Our school community is diverse and offers the chance to learn about many different cultures and experience many different things. La Villita truly is a wonderful place to be!

the school is 1 yr old and has done very well in the first year. our son began K there and is now in 1st Grade. he loves it. The teachers and counselors and office staff are great and helpful and very involved. The coach is a very nice person and loves to work with the kids. The PTA is new but is a very hardworking one and get involved in helping the school and the kids.its worth watching this school grow as they focus on Education as well as creating a well rounded child. also a very racially diverse crowd which is beneficial for the child.
