Yes! Each year counseling staff leads and sets tone for all students. 5th grade goes on special learning field trip that also includes character and respect to one another. Great teaching and setting tone for junior high.
One of our children have been at Lively for the last 13 years. We have had positive experience from education standpoint and relationally from leadership to staff. Teachers are there to invest and make a difference! They have shaped our children caring about the character and education piece. Our children are thriving and well prepared for transition to junior high. Current Principal knows how to encourage and inspire students to work hard! The teachers are effective and creative in their approaches to learning. We treasure our experience at Lively!
This is my son's first year at Lively and the whole family loves it. They make him feel welcomed and answer any questions we may have. The staff also make you feel welcome and help in anyway they can. The sons teacher have been great with him. He loves going to school everyday. I have seen a good change in my so since he started going to Lively.
I honestly haven't seen much bulling since coming to this school 3 years ago. Counselors are very aware and helpful if there are any concerns. And when mentioned to Teachers, they are right there, ready to help rectify the situation.
There is a wonderful staff at Lively dedicated to children with special needs. There is a deep respect and understanding that we are all different and yet, we are all the same. We are all learning and growing together.
