Freeman Elementary School

We are very satisfied with the school. Our son has been attending this school for the past two years. However when he joined it was ranked 8 out of 10 and now it has gone to 7 out of 10. This definitely concerns us parents and we are in constant doubt of whether to move to another school district with exemplary rating. The only major improvement we would like to see is more home-work for children in the 1st -2nd grades as they should have the accountability towards school and fall in the habit of doing homework.

My daughter is attending this school from past two years and she loves it.the new principal is very helpful and cheerful lady .staff is very helpful.teachers have lot of energy and are very good with kids and no doubt my daughter has been learning alot.

My daughter is attending this school from past 3 years and she loves it and so do we. Excellent Teachers and staff. Kids have wide range of activities to participate like Math Club, Music club, competitions and so on.

this is my daughter's first year (KG) at freeman elementary. my daughter has learned so much for this year and I am proud the way she catch-up with school environment and studies. teachers are very good in dealing with kids and the phone and email communications from school to parents are awesome. I am a happy parent for the year 2010-2011.

My Son (special needs)goes for communications class and we love the school mainly for the great teacher and teacher aids he has .

My son has been in this schoo for 5years since the school opened, I saw this new school is growing up to an excellent school after new princeple Mr. Peterson came. My son love it. The math club is wonderful too.

Our son attends kindergarten here and we couldn't be happier. The principal is fantastic. You can tell he genuinely cares about the children and their education. His teachers are outstanding and are very dedicated. Our son loves going to school and has thrived during his time here. My daughter has been at this school for 3 years. I love this school. The PTA is awesome. The principal is outstanding. The teachers and staff care about the success of the students. The teachers seek outside advise and expert opinion. They update their curriculum often. They keep these kids on the cutting edge of modern education. My daughter never wants to miss school. They physically warm the kids up every morning. During 'Tiger Time' they sing, stretch and dance. T.T. gets the blood flowing through the body for better thinking and helps gets the jitters out. When they get to class these kids are ready for learning. I would love to see the fine arts curriculum expanded to incorporate small instruments like a Recorder. If you want your child to succeed in grade school and be ready for college, then look for a school like this one.

Like any school, the experience is most influenced by the individual teacher. There is not a consistent method from class to class. My daughter had attended the school for 2 years and we are happy with the facilities, the staff, and the curriculum. The only thing I would change is for the school to be 'warmer' with class parties, class performances that are not tied to PTA meetings, and more opportunities for parent interaction with the kids and parents.

From Last year to this year, prgress of this school has taken turn to south. It might be because of very high appreciation by paretns last year. This year we did not find Teachers as co-operative and enthusiastic as they were last year.

This school was brand new the year my son attended there. He was a student for two years. The school is very nice, clean and safe. My concern was that most of the teachers were very young and inexperienced. Only one field trip a year was organized. I wish the children were motivated, challanged to learn things outside of the classroom. In his last year there was no homework (reading or writing) for entire year, because the teacher 'did not believe it helped children' Overall, a good school with great potential.

My child was in Freeman for grades 2 and 3 - I found the teachers to be delightful. I found them involved, dedicated, and personable. I did not, however, care for the office staff. The principal is professional and courteous, but the front desk receptionist is arrogant and difficult.

Freeman elementary is a new school that has lots of potentials. It's buildings are new, modern and spacious. Classrooms are very well equipped with many technological facilities. The administration is wonderful and the teachers too! It needs a little more extra-curricular ativities, but overall is a good school!
