Our grandson went to pre K 4 last year. We were new to this area and didn't know anything about the schools. We are Methodist so we aren't members of this church. We were so impressed with his progress last year that we enrolled him in the Joshua Christian Academy kindergarten program. We have just been amazed at his ability to read. The teachers and the staff are so impressive. Education is really important in our family. We are confident that we are giving our grandson the very best start to his spiritual and academic education. We are thankful the Lord led us to Joshua Christian Academy.

My son went to high school here and we feel so blessed to have found JCA. It really is like family there. Every staff member has the students best interests at heart. They honestly care about all the kids.

I have 2 children in JCA at this time and both of them are learning a lot. They are very excited about going to school everyday and really seem to love their teachers. I love the standards and the moral values that are taught. There are no rules that I have found that are in place without a biblical principle for its existance.

The elementary at JCA is wonderful - high school leaves alot to be desired - every time I am in the building, there are students roaming around, out of classes and being very disrespectful to adults arround. I went to drop off a payment in the high school office, and had to wait over 8 minutes for the staff to get off of a personal call to even acknowledge that I was there. Dress code does not seem to be enforced in the high school. My child has repeatly complained of the lack of teaching in Bible classes - and that there are subs in as often as the actual teacher. Teachers are late to class - we will not be returning after semester.

Both of my children attended PreK at JCA. They had a wonderful loving teacher and learned so much. This school is very affordable, has high academic standards and teaches children about the love of Christ.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
