I know pleanty of graduates from FWA and those who graduate are not impressive at all. I was skeptical to send my little one there just through elementry but looked into it anyway. Very rude staff! Very stuck up students. Not a place for a Christian family with strong morals and values.

A reviewer a bit back said all reviews are by parents who work there. I dont work there. My children were both in Katy ISD schools which, if you aren't from here, are touted as the second coming of Christ of public schools; I dont think the education was that great. When I put them in Faith West, it was difficult for them to catch up on the things they'd missed in public school, so the first year was terribly challenging. As time went on, they both developed pride in their education and a sense of community that you cannot get in local schools where the average attendance is 1500 students (in grammar school that is, high schools are much larger). Add to it the character building and morality lessons which are first taught at home, then reaffirmed in school, and my kids will come out of FWA ready to face both the intellectual and moral challenges of the world. We couldn't be happier, and it's the best money we've spent ever. Ever. No, really, ever.

Great school! Faith West has been a blessing to my son and Family. I am especially thankful for the care that each teacher and staff member dedicates to each and everyone of their students. Faith West has everything you want in a school and more!

This school has been a big waste of my money. I thought I would receive a christain based education for my child, unfortuately I am very disappointed. The reviews on the site are made by parents who actually work at the school. Please don't be fooled.

In tough economic times God has reconfirmed his hand on this school. FaithWest continues to grow, especially this year. Great loving staff and teachers that are answering their calling. After 16 years and 4 kids attending (two graduates so far) this has been the best investment (not expense) in our children s eternity we could make. The Spiritual, Academic, Social, Electives, Liberal Arts, and Athletic training they receive are second to none. You must visit this campus before deciding on another private or public school.

My children attended FWA during their grade school years. It is a great school academically. The drawback is that the classes are so small. Clicks seem to form and if you do not mold into one of them, you are left out or ostracized. Both children did well academically, but didnot seem to fit in socially. Most parents were a bit 'odd' and maybe too much of religious fanatics. I am religious but some were just overboard. However, all said FWA is tops academically and prepared them well for public school.

Our 8 yr. old daughter attends FW and we love the learning environment thy are offering. Yes, parent involvement is something that is softly pushed, but not required. We as parents WANT to be involved with our child, but we don't sign on to help with everything. What she is getting academically in the 3 rd grade is leaps beyond Public school levels. She hasn't yet, but once she moves into middle school/high school grades there are plenty of extracurricular activities available. We selected FW for not only the academics, but for the biblical studies as well. The teachers have all been very GODLY in their ways and helpful with guiding our daughter down life's path. We look forward to sending her to college, confident she'll do very well. Given the background she received from FWA!

I'm a parent of FWA students. I came across this website and I'm enjoying reading the reviews. However, I am very surprised with the review that reads 'parent involvement seems to be available only if you are willing to donate money to the school'. My family's been at FWA for 9 years. I've never felt pressure to donate or that my level of involvement in the school is or would ever be limited to my level of donation. In another review it was states that the schools views of non-Christians is quite severe as stated in the 'Statement of Faith'. I went online to read it and; respectfully, I don't see what that individual is talking about. I appreciate the comments of others, I just don't find that they are consistent with my family's experience at all. We've found FW to be a wonderful learning and growing, family-focused environment!

My husband and I have found FWA to have cultivated an incredible balance of meeting students academic/spiritual/athletic/social needs. Educating the 'whole child', if you will. We have an elementary and secondary student. Our children are definitely being challenged academically. More importantly, they are being challenged to live out the school's motto 'Excellence Without Compromise'. Whether the issue is academic/social/spiritual, or otherwise, they are challenged to live their lives in excellence, never compromising their very best. I can't justly communicate how much that message has impacted my daughters. To watch your children literally pause as they make decisions to evaluate if it is a 'wise and excellent' choice is a joy beyond measure. Also, myself and my husband are both licensed pastors. We've found the teachings to be Biblically balanced and applicable. Our kids have learned by experience that God can, and should, be a part of every part of their lives.

Faith West is the only school my daughter has attended (K4-8th so far). She is consistently on the honor roll and is in all AP classes available to her. She passed the college SAT while in the 7th grade (Duke University TIP Program). I don't think this would have happened in our local district. Most of the students who graduated last year had at least a partial scholarship and some a 'full ride'. There are plenty of extracurricular activities available. The sports teams are awesome and many go on to state competition. The band has been skimpy for a couple years but that program now has a very competent director with a vision. Parents are welcomed, and encouraged, to become involved in school activities/programs. My husband and I feel our daughter is getting an excellent education from caring, Godly teachers. Gotta love it when a bible is listed under school supplies.
