Outstanding school, great staff. Teachers are excellent, all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Have two children attending school at M.P.W.E. and they enjoy it. Great with special need children.

I absolutely love this school. I have an older child that went through school in Pennsylvania and this school surpasses any of the schools my older child has gone through. The teacher my son has had this year is phenomenal. She has qualities I have not seen in a teacher for a long long time. She truly cares about her students. You can see it by the way she is with each and every student. My son is in pre-k this year and I hate to see him go to Kindergarten next year where he won't have the same teacher. I know teachers change every year but I would love to have had Mrs. Erickson as a teacher for both my children. She is awesome.

Most of the teachers are very dedicated to their students. Too bad, the school's administration is less so - or rather is dedicated to a certain segment of students and the others are ignored. We've spent 4 years at this school and will be moving to NOT send our younger child here. The PTA is actively involved but is a puppet for the financial needs of the administration. Bonus, the school is a regional auditory learning center so that's great for filling that need. It does teach the kids diversity.

I commend MPE teachers as a hardworking and dedicated staff putting long hours of personal time making the school a positive learning experience. School administrators that place little value on experience thwart their efforts. Many of the most experienced teachers fled the school in order to escape an atmosphere of constant change and searching. Each year days of valuable preparation time are lost due to meaningless meetings and shuffling of classrooms. New curriculums drawing from faddish trends instead of reliance on proven success are adopted and then scrapped in favor of yet newer fads. Basic skills such as spelling, reading, and math are crammed into rigid schedules that allow little flexibility in meeting individual student needs. Special remedial programs are adopted to address the skill shortcomings, only to have the programs staffed by teachers with little classroom experience. I view a downward spiral until changes are made at the top.

The teachers are firm when needed, but caring. This school is wonderful.

Poor teacher relationships with ALL students. Teachers show favoritism.

I am so very happy to say that both of my chlildren are going to MPE as I did. There are so many of the same teachers and my children love them as much as I did. The teachers keep me involved and inforned, what else could I ask for? Keep it up MPE; your doing a wonderful job.

My daughter was lucky to go to Memorial Parkway Elem. School from kindergarten through the grade. She had excellent teachers. I think we can never appreciate schools and teachers enough, if you stop and think about it they are taught so much more that just to read and write. They are given the start to a promising future. All this starts in elementary school. I will be forever grateful to MPE for giving my child the best. We still run into her PE Teacher and he still calls her by name. She is successful in sports due to being taught different sports in school. She also took Choir is school which got her started with music and now is in her 4th year of Band. We were always kept informed on our children and could visit at lunch any time. I know my child will be successful. Thank You MPE

MPE goes above and beyond when it comes to our children! The staff is a credit to the community generating the family unity spirit we want instilled in our leaders of tomorrow...even if that tomorrow is years away. The friendly smiles are seen daily and the warm spirit carries over into each and everyone on the staff. Thank you for everything you have done and for everything you will continue to do in the future. We are proud to be Panthers.

My kids have attended this school for many years and I have been very happy with it. The teachers they've had have all been excellent. They also have a great librarian that has great lessons for the kids. There is good parent involvement, although I believe it could be better. The kids at the school are all really good kids. My kids have all really enjoyed their years there, made good friends, have had excellent test scores and have learned a lot.

I have been pleased with the teachers that my child has had over the last two years. Very consistent and caring teachers. They have sign language class that is free from first to fifth grade and they also have spanish available for a fee. I wish they more after school programs like science and reading. I would also be happier if they had additional reading programs. I have been disappointed with the level of parent involvement. I have made my name and number available for any type of class room reading and I have never been called by the home room mom.

School has exceptional teachers. There are alot of school functions encouraging parent involvement. School is great if your child is average or above average. I have two children in this school and one has special needs. It has been difficult to get help for this child.
