The school is absolutely fantastic and is focussed on the children first! Excellent teachers that really care!
We just moved to the area and our kids started school here in August. It was a HUGE change from our last school! Teachers are loving, helpful, and welcoming and the students are great! We love it here!
My son went to Kindergarten at Shady Grove. We loved the staff and size of the school! Great choice!
Careing teachers and staff!! Shady Grove Stars rock
Fabulous down to earth basics PLUS incredible personal time with the kids. My children love this school and I love this school! The new principal, Mr. Mantz was exactly what the school needed!
I heard this school was wonderful but my experiences were anything but. There is a bit of an elitist attitude with both parents and teachers. We experienced an over-bearing teacher in one grade and then experienced a teacher who did not properly address a bullying issue that my son had to contend with all year long. The art program is below average. The only outstanding program was the music one. The teacher that runs that is outstanding.
It's a Texas Public School... Very average, lots of helicopter moms ruining the learning environment and the teachers are really hit or miss with their ability.
I am very impressed with Shady Grove. They access each child individually - and encourage creative, academic and social growth. My child is learning two grades above her level in reading, which I can attribute to both parent and teacher cooperation within the school.
I was totally unimpressed with this school. When changing to a different district my children were not prepared at all.
We have been at Shady Grove for 6 years and we love it! The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is outstanding and the parents are extremely involved.
