review from former student If i ever have kids, i want them to go to Shady Grove. Best memories of my childhood are right here! Was there from 99' through 04' Im reviewing each of my old schools, this one was the best 5 years as far as i remember

We just moved to the area and our kids started school here in August. It was a HUGE change from our last school! Teachers are loving, helpful, and welcoming and the students are great! We love it here!

Fabulous down to earth basics PLUS incredible personal time with the kids. My children love this school and I love this school! The new principal, Mr. Mantz was exactly what the school needed!

I heard this school was wonderful but my experiences were anything but. There is a bit of an elitist attitude with both parents and teachers. We experienced an over-bearing teacher in one grade and then experienced a teacher who did not properly address a bullying issue that my son had to contend with all year long. The art program is below average. The only outstanding program was the music one. The teacher that runs that is outstanding.

It's a Texas Public School... Very average, lots of helicopter moms ruining the learning environment and the teachers are really hit or miss with their ability.

I am very impressed with Shady Grove. They access each child individually - and encourage creative, academic and social growth. My child is learning two grades above her level in reading, which I can attribute to both parent and teacher cooperation within the school.

We have been at Shady Grove for 6 years and we love it! The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is outstanding and the parents are extremely involved.

Great school! It cares about its kids. The parent involvement is over the top. The music and art are outstanding. I wish there was a better year end showcase of student talents. Otherwise its a great place.

My children have been attending Shady Grove for many years. We are very pleased with it. Mrs. Flores, the principal, runs the school very well, and knows what is going on in her classrooms. Mrs. George, the Assistant Principal, is also very involved and does her job well. The teachers are wonderful! I would definitly recommend this school to anyone.

I have been very impressed with the administration, staff, and programs offered at Shady Grove. My oldest child was in the Excel program, so she was challenged with interesting academic activities. My youngest child has learning difficulties, and her needs were addressed early on. All the staff appear caring and nurturing and parents are a welcome part of the educational process.
