This school is one that claims to teach Christian values but it does not. The administrator is uncaring and not at all compassionate when it comes to students or parents. The middle and high school grades have issues with bullying that the teachers and admin ignore. The students are not at all welcoming of new students and we have had issues with name calling and students in leadership positions being just downright nasty. There are a few compassionate upper grade teachers however most are just there for a paycheck and one of the upper grade teachers has issues with being very disrespectful and unprofessional toward his students. They offer a nice amount of sports teams however even this is a turn off for many Christian families because there are a few mothers that run things and they themselves act more childish then the students. These mothers can be heard trashing other students as well as the faculty. On any given day you can hear how much they think the math and English teachers are not doing their jobs. The admin is aware of the issues and chooses to ignore them. This is my students first and last year at this so called "Christian" school.

We had attended MCA for 5 yeras. It had high standards. It has transformed into a place of social hypocriscy and a business.. The Administration has always been lacking but we had great experiences in the classroom. However, since their accredidation through ACSI they have had to hire teachers that are certified. It is obvious that the majority of the teachers just need a job in today's economy. They do not have a biblical foundation and chapel once a week is not enough. It (Love) used to be an everyday theme even in classroom lessons. The church has got to get involved. I could not longer have my children attend a "Christian" school that exhibited everything but a "Christian" character. If you want a private school that operates like and sometimes worse than a public this is the place for you. If you want an atmosphere of Christian love and academic excellence look elsewhere. If interested asked about enrollment trends over the last 6 years. The lower grades(K3-1st)) are geat but as your child advances it becomes detrimental to your a child's development-spiritually and academically. Their Middle school and highschool need serious work. Pray for Wisdom and Guidance

My child attended this school for 2 school years. The curriculum is advanced compared to the local public schools and my child ended up skipping a grade when he went back to public schools once we moved. The teachers are caring though there are a few that could use some lessons is grammar especially those that speak English as a second language. I think if you can get the better teachers, then your experience will be 5 star.

The overall school is great. It is better than the alternative, going to public schools here. The academic program is advanced which is great for getting your children ready for their future. The only issues thus far since having our children in the school is in certain areas. Our children have not had much teacher involvement minus what's offered during the day, and when trying to have parent/teacher involvement it is quite difficult unless you want to communicate via email in which we don't like to address our children on a non personal basis. There has been issues with bullying in which we were told was a zero tolerance for. As parents, we can not be with our child 24/7 or we would to protect them, and we were hoping this school would help eliminate bullying and harrassement or correct it. Our children are happier being out of the public schools but they struggle with teacher involvment. At public school, although overcrowded, etc..the teachers did take time to calmly, softly, non judgementaly address each situation. And there was never judgement placed upon anyone. Overall, it's a positive environment and our children love having GOD being a part of their learning experinces.

Awesome school! This is my daughters 2nd year and she loves it! I had to take her out of public school because no teachers would take their time with her. Every single teacher here works together and is involved with the students. And they encourage parent involvement. I could not have asked for a better school that also invovles christian learning. Although we will be moving we hope to find another school like this one. Thank you MCA!

The people at this school make all the difference! The teachers are great, the staff is wonderful and the principal is man of God. There is a suprising amount of extras for a small school. I wish we could return.. we're hoping for Ft. Hood again!

We were are Memorial Christian Academy for 4 years and we loved it. They have a lot to offer at this school including sports for students in Elementary school through high school, theater, music and many more extra- curricular activities. The teachers and staff are wonderful and work very hard to give their students the education and biblical principals that you would expect. Their academics are challenging, and give the students a advantage above the rest. My four kids will never forget the foundation that was instilled at MCA. The military has moved us to another state, but we will take all that we learned to our new school. Thanks MCA

What a WONDERFUL school with the most caring staff. Over our 4 years (with 3 children enrolled) at MCA the staff truly cared for my children. You could not ask for a better education. Due to the Military we have had to move and I can say my high-schooler is now placed in honors classes at his new school. They have competitive extra-curricular activities, a fantastic PTVO, and the teacher/staff involvement couldn't be any better. Thanks MCA for giving my kids the solid educational and spiritual foundation that will stay with them forever!!! What a blessing!!

This is a wonderful Christian school. My children were always happy there, the education was top notch and the teachers and staff were very caring. We moved away last year, but we wish we could return.

We have thoroughly enjoyed Memorial Christian, and as a military family on the move frequently, we appreciate the thoroughness and understanding that the teachers and administration show toward our lifestyle. The academics are great, and the follow-up is terrific with parents. Only wish we could transplant this school to our next duty station.

Great school- much higher quality of education. Small classes but not too small. Lots of extras that don't cost a dime.

My children are attending Memorial for the second year in a row. The academics are outstanding with both my children testing far above average. The extra curriculars are growing and they now have football, volleyball, soccer, swimming and basketball. One really great feature is that the school offers Computer Lab(each child has thier own laptop),Spanish, Performing Arts as well as a great science lab. The Christian education is great and I would recommend this school to anyone who wants the best education for their child.

Our son went to Pre-K and has had a good experience overall. They use the ABECA curriculum which is an excellent tool for learning. Our son has already learned how to write in cursive and has begun reading. We would recommend this school for any parent looking for a good Christian based school environment.
