Epiphany Episcopal Elementary School is exceptional. Students are learning at a fast pace. Class size is small for all grades and teacher to student ratio a great plus. Both my children attended Epiphany and now my granddaughter is attending. The basics taught there are the building blocks for future success in the world of work and in families. The fact that it is a private school with high standards shows that it can be done with dedicated teachers and dedicated parents that spend above average quality time with students. We cannot wait to improve education at the high school level. It begins in the elementary grades where students learn academics as well as positive values and attitudes that lead to success in life. Without a doubt, Epiphany Episcopal School is accomplising what education should accomplish for all of our youth.
My son is in Pre-K and is loving it! We had abad experience with a local day care center, where the teachers were not positive or responsive to issues. Epiphany teachers and staff have been very positive and my son is doing great! Thanks and keep up the good work!
Epiphany has been a great school experience for my two children. They have learned through hands on experiences that you can not get in the public schools. The class sizes are small and the teachers are great. Epiphany also offers computer, Spanish, art and music. The school now only has two fundraisers. A big item raffle and the spring auction. Tuition is actually cheaper than other private schools in the community. Epiphany also offers aftercare until 5:30 for working parents.
Considering that the school system in Kingsville is very bad, Epiphany is a bright spot. On one hand I am pleased with the school, on the other, I feel it's more about the money. Constant fundraisers in the beginning of the year when we pay a hefty tuition (compared to free schools that are way below standards). In some classes, parents can be clicky, but that's not a problem for my child's class, thankfully. My child's teacher, I feel, is the best in the school. Being the military family we are, we need this school to keep daughter ready for our next duty station, so we will go back. They have a scholarship program as well. So that helps.
I am so pleased with the atmosphere and academics that Epiphany provides. The class size allows for the teacher to take time with each child. The buddy system, pairing older students with younger students, develops a sense of responsibility for the older kids. You can sense 'community' when you are on campus. My children have developed into fine young men due to this school's influence.
This is one of the greatest schools. My oldest child has been going there for 7 years. She loves the school and the teachers.
