Mittelstadt Elementary School

This school is by far the best school! From the teachers to the leadership, every aspect of this school is wonderful. My daughter and son go here and the teachers they have had have been nothing but great in working with them and their challenges. I have seen these children grow into happy, excited and fun-loving kids, knowing from where they started. Mrs. Zaluski, Ms. Drouillard, Mrs. Crowe, Mrs. Vandergriff, Mrs. Levy, Mrs. Baustian, Mrs. Boucher, all the ladies in the office and Ms. Dina - I just can't say enough! I love them all and thank them for working with our children so positively! What an awesome school!

My son is almost at the end of Kindergarten and let me just say that Mrs. Lane has been an absolute blessing. There are no words to express what an excellent teacher and motivator she is. She always has a smile on her face and you can tell that she truly loves her job. Blessed is the only word I can come up with to describe how I feel to have my son in her class and at this school. I have personally spoken to the principal at school functions, she went out of her way to approach me and inquire about my son. I was blown away. The PTO is awesome! The new art teacher is so sweet and really seems to get a thrill out of creativity of the students. It is an overall GREAT school!

Since my kids have gone to Mittelstadt for a short period of time, I come to find out its a great school I luv all the teachers theyve had mr shaw, mrs amend and mrs vandergriff , the kids love that school and i enjoyed talking to the teachers and office staff they are great people I would recommend this school to any new comers you will love this school very nice people and great school.... clarice

I wholeheartedly agree with the quality and care of the teachers for the most part. The kids are treated with love and respect. The academic programs are quite good, and the kids really seem to enjoy and feel comfortable with the librarians, clinic and P.E. staff. The parental involvement is also exceptional. My only disappointment is the music department. The teachers' attitude toward the students is not up to par with the school overall. Many of the students are either afraid of the music teachers or just don't particularly like them because of the way the students are treated. All kids should be treated with respect and made to feel important. The music teacher's approach often is to ridicule and intimidate.

great school. great teachers. great, loving principal! my daughter had a third great year at this school. Each year i don't think the teacher could be any better, but the next is just a little better than the last. Ms. Rinker was a loving, caring teacher.

My child has atttended Mittelstadt for three years. We have been very pleased with everything. Our child loves the school. The staff and students take great pride in their school. The building is nicely maintained and has a very welcoming feeling. Academic excellence is very important here... staff, students, and parents all work together to meet high standards. There is a music program and physical education program. There is not an art program, but they do have an art appreciation presentation twice a year as well as art projects within the classroom on a regular basis. There is a high level of parent involvement at Mittelstadt. The PTO is very successful in being involved and raising extra money for the school. Recently the PTO raised money for new playground equipment and computers. We are PROUD MITTELSTADT PATRIOTS !

There is no end to the parent involvement at Mittelstadt. It is remarkble the amount of time given by the parent volunteers. For the most part, the teachers are excellent and show great devotion and care to the students. However, it this parent's opinion, as well as many others', that the music deparment is sorely lacking as far as the teachers' attitudes and care toward the students.

I think this school has a wonderful nurturing way of teaching. The principal, teachers and other staff members all seem to be working together to create the best experience for the children. I feel like my children are being encouraged to achieve not just good enough, but their personal bests.
