This school is simply wonderful. I have three children who attend school here, and they all cannot wait to go every morning. The teachers are great, and seem to learn the names of many students who are not even in their class. The principal, Kelly Dunn, also knows most of the students, not just the trouble makers! The staff in the main office is very friendly and helpful, the nurse is compassionate and kind, and the lunch ladies treat the students like grandchildren or nieces and nephews. Even the librarian goes out of the way to engage the children. I feel safe leaving my kids here since all doors are locked, and you must enter through the main office with an ID to visit. In the event of a gunman or any other situation that would put the children in danger, I feel that the staff would do a good job of protecting them and keeping them as safe as possible. It really is a great school, full of wonderful people that give it the feel of a small community.

I have 3 kids at Taylor Creek and they all love it. We feel so fortunate that we live in the Lampasas district rather than the nearby C.Cove district (because of the size of the district, not necessarily the quality of the education). The principal at Taylor Creek, Mr. Dunn, is a great person and leader for the school. The facilities are great as well. Every teacher that we've had has truly been interested in our child's education and welfare.

We came mid-year and were so pleased with how friendly all the staff were and how comfortable they made our children. It was such a smooth transition and what a treat to have a brand new school to attend! We were impressed with the academics and love the location. We can't wait for the new school year to begin!!

This is the school's first year and I have a first grade boy attending. We love this school. Everyone we have dealt with there has been totally friendly and helpful. All personnel have gone above and beyond to help my son who needs specialized help with learning. The principal is very involved with kids and parents and encourages parents to be as involved in their children's education as possible. We are so thankful that this school opened this year!
