This a great school my child loves attenting this school she has fun here she loves to learn and i am very pleased that the teachers are very nice and caring to thier students.
Our experience with Calder Road was great a first. But it is a brand new school and has a LOT of bugs to work out. We have had concerns with our child's progress in first grade and when working with the teacher wasn't help we went to the principle Ms Acevedo. A tele conference was held with the teacher and the very next day more issues came about as a result of the conference. When I went to the school I met with the asst principle and had to cover what had been covered with the principal and the our new concerns. I left and less than 15 mins later I was called by the principle chastising me for taking up too much of their time and telling me if I didn't like the school because our child was a transfer student we/he were not welcome and should choose to go elsewhere. When I attempted to redirect her to the issues we were concerned with she said she wasn't going to discuss the specifics further and hung up on me. I felt like I had been verbally assaulted by a bully. I hope she doesn't speak to the children attending the school the way she talks at the parents. We are shocked at the disregard for our child's educational and emotional needs demonstrated by this school.
WONDERFUL! This school has great communication and they care! Very organized with the opening of this school
I have been very happy with the staff of this school. They are all friendly. They remember you. My daughter's teacher was amazing! My daughter learned alot and progressed so quickly. For the first year it was a great year! I can't wait for next year!
For Dickinson to have all variety of people there is no diversity in the staff. The solution to every problem is Special Ed, thats the principals approach. NOT HAPPY AT ALL
