Great environment for learning.Very loving and nurturing, teaching good values and focused education. A little under staffed, but they make the best of it. My daughter is in her 3rd year of attendance and is very happy there.
Extremely poorly run school. They proport to be more rigorous than public school but after several years of attending school there my child went to public and was grossly behind academically, even though they had all A's at St. Mary.
There is very high turnover among the teachers each year.
I have witnessed teachers being physically rough with their students. They also seem to yell a lot.
There has been a lot of turnover in administrators these past few years which has been frustrating.
Overall it just didn't feel like the Christian environment I'd hoped for. And the academics were greatly lacking.
St. Mary is a great place. The class sizes are small, the children are happy, and the teachers are loving. They have had an administration change recently, but the staff handled it with grace. If you are searching for a small, Catholic environment this just might be the place. The atmosphere feels very warm, especially during the morning prayer service every day. Parents are welcomed in a way that public schools can't match. It's a great feeling.
This school discriminated my boy because of our migratory status. They only accept children with social security cards and we have an exchange visitor status because I'm a physician in training and they, being called "catholics" don't take that "type" of people as my boy, who by the way is an excellent student and human being. I hope one day they receive the forgiveness from heaven and justice for discriminating honest people.
