My children attended LISD for years, since the switch to BSCS both of my children(one's 12 and one is 15) love it. I am asking them on a regular basis how things are working out for them out there and they have all good things to say, especially my oldest who can now consentrate in class.

I wanted to update my previous posting. My son is still enrolled at Big Spring and we are still very pleased with the school. The individualized programs provided here are almost unheard of in the public ISD's. Most of the students either have faced or are facing a myriad of challenges. At Big Spring there is the comfort level of being with one's peers. Where students know each other well and respect each other and the challenges they face. The faculty and staff are both experienced and caring. The extra time they spend nuturing these wonderful students will pay huge dividends in their futures. As I mentioned in my earlier posting, Big Spring is not for every child, but at Big Spring every child matters.

I think the parent that left the first review should pull their children from the school if they are that unhappy! Personnally, I feel the school is the best place for the children that are enrolled. Kuddos to the School Staff! Keep up the good work. God knows we need more teachers and staff like them!

I think they discriminate a lot. They treat some kids better than others. I also feel like my children are not being taught what they should learn to prepare them for higher education and the future.
