So far, I have been very happy with this school. The class sizes are small and the academics are challenging, but teachers will help your student if they struggle. The most important thing is that the main focus is Jesus Christ and bringing Him glory in all areas of life.
I removed my kids from this school after a number of years. The teachers are overloaded, the leadership is inadequate and I agree with other parents, that if your family does not go to the church, the kids are not favored like the ones who do. My kids had a mostly positive experience there, but I was not happy with it. They are in public schools now.
lol i tink dis skool iz gret. It haz tot me alowt of stuf abowt scaence an engrish and typing to. If u wan a god edjuculation ten go here!
I took my kids out. The bullies were out of control and if your child isn't part of their church or related to a staff member, you can forget about getting any attention to this issue or any other. The favoritism shown towards "the IN kids" shows up everywhere....sports teams, winning contests, you name it. The elementary teachers were great. Not too many are great in the upper grades. One of the math teachers lowers the grade because the paper isn't folded right and that was the first week of school! A big blow to a straight A student. That's not a "teacher" thats a drill instructor.
I went to school here from the ages of 3 - 18. This school molded me into the person I am today, I am grateful for the school and the staff. I learned a lot and made some great friends. The staff was great , it is a small school with an easier learning environment for students and if you dont want your children to be taught evolution and be involved in sex and drugs then this is the place for your child. My whole family including mother, aunts, uncles and cousins went here. Its been around a long time!
Teachers work extremely hard to creat e a nurturing learning environment and the principal is a great leader! I am not a member of their church and it has taken me some time to get to know everyone = they are super nice!
Elementary grades have been great, but junior high has many issues. If your child struggles, it is too bad. The teachers keep moving no matter if your child gets it or not. Junior high is a huge adjustment and if they fall behind, their grades begin to drop and it can be a very negative experience for your child. My child will not be going back in the fall.
The children of certain staff members are shown a lot of favoritism and get away with stuff that others would never be able to
TCA is a wonderful school for my children! They have a qualified and caring staff who consistently go the second mile. I wholeheartedly endorse Temple Christian. May the Lord continue to bless this great school!
Its better for your child if you attend the church. Also, the principal seems to change every year. To many quizzes for children under the age of 13. The school seems to lack fairness especially to be 'Christ' centered.
