This school is probably fine for average students. Parents of children with special needs to run away, and run away fast. We talked with several parents of learning challenged kids and the conversation was virtually the same every time, those kids DON'T get what they need. I understand finances are an issue, but frankly if any of the staff would have actually listened to or acknowledged our concerns at ARD meetings it would have gone a long way. That did not happen. We had outside testing and an advocate involved, and it didn't help much. Next step was a TEA complaint. Instead, we moved. Supposedly the new superintendent cares a lot about special needs. I did call her once with a concern. She politely said she would look in to it. Never heard back. I

The School is very small, but for it's size the teachers really try to work with the students. The Administration tends to be more difficult, and if you have a child with special needs, it will take a lot of work to get services.
