I would rate this school with about a 5, because when my daughter came here from another state she had the hardest time getting where she needs to be. The Teachers here do not help the students it is pretty bad when you as a parent have to send you child to Sylvan Learning Center and pay 5,000 to get your child a better education than the school can give, why am I paying school taxes when these teachers are not teaching it is like these poor kids are on there own sometimes.

I have found that Lexington School District is very well ran. The athletic department is a top department as well as the acedimics also. Unlike many people feel the staff will work with you on any problems you have you just have to ask for the help.

My daughter is also a freshman at LISD, and that's the reason I'm moving. I've never seen a school so poorly run or lacking in caring. Trying to talk to a teacher or staff member is an exercise in futility. I wish it were otherwise, but that's my experience. :-(

My daughter is a freshaman at LISD. I have found very pour response from the adminstration anytime I have attempted to contact them with any concerns. The math department is lacking in any instruction and direction. The athletics are great. But there does not seem to be any concern about anything other than athletics.
