Academy Junior High

I love Academy it the best school to ever go to. The best is that its not too small but not as big as Temple. Its one of those schools where everyone knows everyone and were all really good friends. I love the teachers here they rock. Its so easy to learn and havent ever had a problem. The thing I love about Academy is that when I first came here I was imediatly accepted into the school and soon became friends with everyone.

I have to say this school is wonderful. my child is in the life skills program, due to learning delays and the teachers have worked wonders with her.

I must respond to the parent who was disappointed in the lack of choices for classes as compared to the larger districts her daughter transferred from. What you lose in class offerings, you gain in a small wonderful learning environment, with strong consistant discipline. And Temple offers free transfers if she wants more choices!

I think this a wonderful school to have your children go to, everything is almost perfect here, of course nothing is perfect. The food here is ok, and all most all of the teachers are great and understanding about us, and they also help us when we need it!

Although the programs that are found in Academy seem to be well run, there doesn't seem to be much to choose from. No choir program and no theater program. I was hoping for more. My child is a student at the middle school. She was flagged for pro-AP courses at the district where we came from, but that program doesn't exist here.
