My two boys just started school last week in Lone Star and I was very impressed by the principal, Mr. McAdams. As he gave me and my sons a tour of the school, he had children approaching him wanting to hug him and talk to him about their day and he took the time to hug and acknowledge everyone of them. My son got sick his second day there and Mr. McAdams loaded his bicycle in his truck and brought him home himself. This school and the staff seem to be almost too good to be true. I am very happy with this school and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small town community school who seem to genuinely care about you and your children.

My 8 yr. old has been going to Lone Star Elementary since Kindergarten. This school treats me and and my child as part of their family. All of the faculty has been with this school for more than 10 years. Our new Principal has definitely been an asset and an inspiration to the kids as well as the instructors. Every Friday morning before class starts, our Principal leads the kids with a pep rally, and every week some child receives recognition for either his/her act of kindness or efforts in achievement. This school acknowledges good in every child. They believe every child is special and makes them feel that way. After Christmas Holiday, my son was having problem sitting in class doing his work, and Mr. McAdam's went out of his way to let my son do his work in his office. The teachers show true compassion for all students.
