My daughter has attended this school for 3 years and we feel very fortunate to have this school in our area! One of the reasons this school scores so high on standardized testing is that children must take a test to even be considered for admissions. The teachers are all so wonderful and the academics are fabulous! The even have an orchestra starting in 3rd grade! If you are looking for an elementary school in Longview... this one stands above all in my book!

Excellent instructors, smaller classes, and reasonable discipline make this school the 'place to be'.

We continue to be amazed by the quality of Hudson Pep school! Our fourth grader is constantly challenged to do her best. Even though she has to struggle a little bit to accomplish all that is required, we are thrilled by the challenges she faces and masters!! Our only worry is where she will be able to go to middle school when she finishes here. The present options leave a lot to be desired.

We have been 'Hudson parents' for eight years and counting and couldn't be happier. Our three kids have been very happy there and would never want to go to anywhere else. Staff, students and parents/guardians are all top-notch. If your child can be part of this experience, please pursue it!

Hudson PEP's quality of academic programs is excellent. They offer a Gifted and Talented program and many extracurricular activities, such as Strings, Choir, and Band. The level of parent involvement is very high.

Hudson Pep is a great, great school that will more than adequately prepare first through fifth graders for continued academic success through its rigorous curricula and highly qualified teachers. Parents who do not want their children challenged and pushed need not enroll their children there. Students who excel at Hudson almost certainly enroll in junior high and high school in pre-AP and AP programs. At present, the school's mission to push and challenge its students is being somewhat hindered by a superintendent bent on trying to fix what isn't broken for reasons nobody fully understands. For now, if you live in the district and need a quality elementary school for you child, Hudson is the school of choice. However, some of the junior high schools and certainly the high school are very troubled. Unless change occurs soon, look to relocate into another district before your child reaches sixth grade.
