As a former employee, there are better private schools in the area. Much emphasis on politics and not stepping on the wrong toes when it comes to discipline and academics. Nepotism reigns supreme here. Hey, if I were principal my kids would get all the awards, perks and glory too. It was a joke.
My grandchildren attended this school (glad my daughter pulled them). They hated it. They were ostracized/bullied by the other students and the administration did nothing to resolve it. The principal's children attend this school and they and their friends receive preferential treatment from the principal. The hiring at this school is cronyism at its best. The strong students are kept back by the weak students and, again, if you are not related to the principal, nothing is done. This is why the enrollment to this school is declining. I guess their "perfect" reputation is more important than the well being of most of their students.
I have gone to CTK for 13 years now. It is a small school but it is completely focused on the education and Catholic faith. I truely does give you an experience you would not get anywhere else; especially not in public school.
