I love this school! If you are looking for a place that encourages children to do their best and helps them to accomplish that - this is it. The teachers are nurturing and the classroom environment is positive. My child has changed for the better.
This is a great school. I enjoy teaching in a supportive and loving environment. Student-to-teacher ratio helps promote a good classroom environment. The families are involved and there is a sense of school pride felt among teachers, students, and parents.
Southcrest is changing for the positive. Already a super group of teachers...new administration will help the school to grow into the super school it has always had the potential to be.
I currently have 2 children attending SCS. I can't say enough about the quality of the acedemics. Both my kids have scored well above the average every year and I believe it is because of the teachers and curriculum they teach. Most parents are involved and the school openly welcomes it. God is at work in Southcrest.
Southcrest has been a blessing to my children. The teachers and the administration are wonderful, godly people who want only to share their faith with the school's children.
I have had 3 children attend Southcrest. The oldest is now a sophomore and is in all advance placement classes in a local high school. Southcrest gave him confidence and a strong desire to learn. My other children have also done extremly well academically when they left Southcrest for public school. They were all well ahead of the local public school.
The Pre-K, Kinder, and 1st grade programs and teachers are excellent, however I think there is a significant drop-off in the higher grades. My children were way beyond the curve as kindergardners, and first graders, but they seem to have fallen behind the other 3rd and 5th graders that we know.
I have two son's that have attended this Southcrest for last three years. Both excel in all areas of academics. The environment that these boys have been is awesome. Never seen such caring Christian people who promote Christ like behavior and lead by example.
