Scores consistently rank below state average. Child's knowledge base must be supplemented at home. Lasseiz-faire attitude - school district lacks organization at all levels. Very little (if any) parent involvement. One PTO for all school levels instead of per school. Mixture of really good teachers and those that don't know what they're doing. Problems with theft. Band and athletics department must be run by high school. Band is not a problem. Unfortunately since UIL rules differ between high school and junior high levels, athletics department has issues of miscommunication, instructors lacking knowledge, and abuse/misuse of rules and playing at the junior high level. Weak academic program that does not challenge the child at all.
