Overall I am happy with the campus. I do think improvements need to be made in the area of math, but other than that we have been very happy.

Excellent principal! Love Mr. Dykes! He is here for the right reasons and makes a HUGE difference at the Jr High. Several of my kids have gone through this school and he has been the BEST principal by far!

PROS: -Small town, you get to know your child's teachers pretty well -Safe town, safe school; illegal activities are not tolerated -Teachers respond to emails, calls, and visits -Close community feeling, and staff/parent involvement -Dual credit, AP, and other challenging classes available CONS: -moved to high school while jr high is gutted and upgraded - limited choices in classes -school hours (8:30-4:20) and bell doesn't always ring on time -low organization function (people don't know what's going on) Suggested Improvements: -band/athletics should release kids on time (not 15/20 minutes later) -better organization (upload information on website in timely manner, so parents and kids know what is going on) -have separate PTA for each school, not one for all of them and get parents more involved and interested in their children's education
