My sons have had an excellent experience at Ellisor Elementary. The teachers are caring and provide excellent lessons. The principal and asst. principal truly care about each student. They make a point to know the students' names and personality. I could not have asked for a better start for my children's education.

What I experienced at Ellisor Elementary were a lot politics and red tape, and a lack of genuine concern for the children. The principal is rude and condescending he likes to talk down to the parents, and the staff is unfriendly. One would expect a more caring attitude from individuals serving in the teaching profession, not to mention more professionalism when interacting with parents. My child s teacher lacked zeal and interest in the children, from my point of view anyway (and I m a former teacher; I should know...). So I pulled my child out of this school where he was falling behind and now he is soaring in his learning. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

I think the deep Magnolia budget cuts have really caused this school to go straight downhill. And perhaps the entire district. Notice the other reviews are prior to the 2010 deep cuts. They laid off 400 positions in this district. And it wasn't based on keeping the good ones. I miss the seasoned teachers that use to be at this school. The leadership? What leadership. You're on your own!

both of my boys go to ellisor, the academics are top of the line, thanks to the wonderful staff of teachers who are lead by the best principle we could ever ask for. the pto at the school is also top notch, always willing to assist when ever asked. top rate school in the area.

The principal and teachers are excellent. There was one teacher who was very nice but had a tough time teaching the kids what they needed to learn. She's not there any more. My child had a wonderful experience at Ellisor.

Ellisor Elementary shows a School Bulldog Spirit due to the excellent positive drive from their Principal. I saw him even dressed like a Bulldog.Now, that's getting in with the students. GO ELLISOR!

My children had just started going to this school, and they really seem to like the teachers. There isn't a whole lot of big classes so they do get indiviual attention, which I love.

I am soo very impressed with Ellisor Elem i have 2 children in school now and wouldnt want them to go to any other I love the fact that one the principal helps out 100% and also calls the students by there names two how much the teachers pays attention to the students, my daughter was having problems with her reading so not only her teacher but others and the principal called up a meeting with me and came up with these awesome programs to help her and she has improved tremendously Thank you and third how they keep the children safe before, during and after school Thanks again so much Tom Ellisor Elementary.

After completing our first year at Ellisor Elementary School, we couldn't be more pleased and excited! What a wonderful, positive, and comfortable learning environment. We are amazed at the amount of one on one attention each student receives from the principal. The teachers and staff are great to work with and always make parents feel welcome. Our child has gained so much self confidence and is much more motivated to read than ever before. We can't wait until next year! Ellisor Elementary is an awesome place to be, and we feel very fortunate to be a part of such an extraordinary school!

EES has an extremely competent and caring staff, an excellent principal, and a wonderful administrative staff who all care deeply for the education and well being of their student body. I am very impressed with the entire organization at EES.

'I want to commend the faculty and staff at EES for their incredible 'can do' attitude. I see a commitment to find the individual strengths of the students and a willingness to work with them on their weak areas. In particular, their focus on students making positive choices and on recognizing students for positive behavior with character awards provides a clear example of how a school can both teach the academics and promote citizenship, leadership and character. The administrators, teachers, counselors, librarians and aides treat the parents as partners in the child's learning process. The principal at EES is a parent's dream. His enthusiasm for kids and teaching is evident in every aspect of the school. We are very fortunate to be a part of ELLISOR Elementary School.'

I cannot begin to tell you how much we love Ellisor. The principal is fantastic (he knows every childs name), the teachers are great and parent participation is encouraged and truly appreciated. My children are treated as individuals and not as a number, and we are kept very informed of everything going on with their academic success. I couldn't be more satisfied!

My child is new this year to Ellisor and from what I have seen first hand of the school, staff, etc. I am very impressed. The school is well maintained and kept very clean and the staff is outgoing and friendly to parents and the children.
