Faith Academy has been an excellent school for my children and I. It is definitely a college-prep school as evident by the 3 day in school 2 days out. Past graduates have gone to schools such as Rice, Baylor, University of Texas, Texas A&M, just to name a few. So they must be doing something right! The homework goes well with the instruction and doesn't take that long to get you use to the system. It is meant to prepare students for the college life ahead. My daughter is a recent graduate and felt that Faith Academy helped prepare her academically and spiritually for college life. Faith also offers many academic and sports programs to choose from.

I am a parent who is very disappointed at the way academics are taught at Faith Academy. It is currently a two day school for elementary students and a three day school for junior high and high school students. The students are given a lot of homework on their off days, which requires several hours of parent teaching because the students aren't learning the academics in the classroom. I felt like I was paying too much money for the teachers to mainly teach Sunday School in the classroom and then assign the academics during the off days. The science curriculum is disappointing, and other view points are not tolerated. What is nice about Faith Academy, is the students. There are lots of good kids, good parents. Also, they have good sports programs.

I personally would not recommend sending your child to Faith Academy of Marble Falls, because from my personal experience. The only reason it is an apparent so-called 'Christian" school is the uniforms. Yes, alot of the teachers are Christians and share there beliefs and pray which I personally think is awsome. And the academics are great as well, very strong, tough courses. Here is the turn-off, I have never been to a place of so called "Christians" where I have felt so unwelcomed. I have never seen the guys gossip and tear each other down, just as much as the girls would. I get discusted at the things said right before "Bible" class, then when class starts there is so much hypocrisy it makes me sick listening to the so-called devotions. And I have never seen so many freinds "talk-hate" about their best bud. But there could be a change, that was just some of my thoughts when I attended this school, in highshool, hoping that it would help me grow spiritualy it just did the opposite by just making me upset at the unjustice done. But the rating is for the academics.

Great school, strict dress code. In order of importance: academics sports student life. Parents are unusually active in the system, not always to the benefit of the students. Girls seem to get all the good leadership positions and if they dont, thier parents make waves until they get thier way.
