It is very clear Marshall ISD has not taught their students how to read, wrtie, or spell. Just read the reviews by students.

The teachers and staff are working very hard to make the junior high the best. The principal is working hard and spending long hours to help this school. The new paint is great, the laptops will help every 8th grader, and the teachers are highly qualified.

This is a good school. I am an 8th grader here. It is one of the best schools I've ever attended.

I went to Marshall Junior High School last year as a seventh grader. I am in eight grade and now go to Hallsville Junior High. In Marshall I felt unsafe, there were fights frequently. Marshall has excellent extra curricular activities, I specifically enjoyed their choir program and band. the level of parent involvement was good depending on who you were. but for the majority it was pretty pitiful. although I do miss my friends and some of my teachers I am glad to be gone.

I attended marshall junior high school last year and it is very good schooling to me. There were a couple of fights, lots of arguments, drama, and messy people but hey, you have that everywhere. But the principal is sweet and very good. He treats everyone the same and if you do something wrong you get disciplined and if you do something good you get rewarded. The parents were very good about seeing to there children and disciplinary and just being included in the schooling period. The teachers where all sweet and equal as well. I loved the school and i went there for both years and im going to miss it very much. The only thing i didnt like was uniforms but i dont have to wear them this year.
