McLeod ISD has the luxury of having a smaller school. The employees truly care for the students and are able to watch after them. Dedicated adminstration and staff. Kids aren't so mean. They are closely supervised and do not have as many chances to get into trouble. As a student it was not as much fun as I thought it should be. Now as an adult I understand the reasoning for rules and enforcing them. My children will go to McLeod ISD.
Smaller classes at McLeod lend to more individual attention. Caring and progressive teachers- although, school board from middle ages. Kids not as 'clickish'. Athletics are important- sometimes overstepping academics, although not any more than most schools. Ag and welding seem to be very important. Individuality and independence are very discouraged.
