Menard Junior High is an excellent school. The teachers genuinely care about the student's success and are eager to provide one-on-one help as indicated. They work hard to provide a challenging environment. The music program under Dane Richardson is phenomenal! In just a couple of years, he has taken a 'nothing band' to an extremely high quality group of students as evidenced by their high rankings at various competitions. I would like to see a quality art program instituted as none exists currently. There seems to be much student talent in this area that is not being cultivated. The Gifted and Talented program seems to be lacking somewhat as well. All in all, it is an excellent school.
