We were in the MISD schools and were disappointed, so we moved out to Greenwood 2 years ago and it is like night and day. Greenwood Elementary offers an excellent education with caring teachers and excellent staff.

We moved to Midland from Corpus Christi. Our children were in a very large school there. We wanted to get them into a smaller one so we chose Greenwood. We could not be more happy. The teachers genuinely care about the kids and their success as individuals. This is a great school system and I would recommend it to anyone relocating to the Midland area.

As with most small schools in Texas, academics takes a back seat to athletics. Recent renovations are in progress (summer 2005)but of course the athletic facilities are proirity. Above average primary school, Music and PPCD programs are thier weak links.
