My daughter is in all pre-ap classes and I feel she is being challenged. I love the band program and the band directors. She has come so far because of them. The athletics program is not as developed and professional as I'd hoped it would be.

Well right now I'm a student at bl gray and to me it's an okay school.... I really dislike that the teachers give you detentions just because your shirt is not tucked in I think it's stupid but there isn't anything I can do also I personally don't like that the kids there are really stuck up aswell that is pretty annoying they have pre-ap in 7th and ap in 8th.. Overall just make sure you and ur kid do some research before you decide to enroll I have an okay experience but I would rather go to a different school but, that's just me so good luck on your choice, best regards.

I agree on the dress code inforcement.. They are very up tight about that. I believe our children have alot more important issues that need to be addressed that are alot more important than dress code!!

The students are very well disciplined but, the teachers and especially principal care more about the dress code then the education. There was a principal change in 2005 and there are drastic changes since the year 2003 in their TAKS scores.

I give B L Gray a thumbs up. They have great teachers who care about their students achievements. I think the new program 'Family Access' is tops for Sharyland and I would like to thank you for providing a way of keeping us parents informed. I attended Open House last month and I was so pleased to have the opportunity to speak to my son's teachers and the positive and negatives issues of concern. ALL POSITIVE! B L Gray also has great coaches (Coach White) with positive values who provide encouragement and growth for our kids. The level of participation from the principal to the parents is incredible. I am ecstatic to be part of such a supportive community. We are looking forward to Sharyland High School and hope we won't be dissappointed. Rattlers all the Way!
