i am a student at the montgomery junior high school and my teachers are great and very nice

We moved to this school district when my son was in 3rd grade. This year he is at the JH. We elected to put him in advanced classes - which are very challenging. The first few weeks were almost to challenging for him with the changes coming up from middle school - but all the teachers were open to meeting and discussing his abilities and how to help him get back on track. They are available before school and after school with tutoring sessions. If you ask of them - they will open their arms to help, but you or your child must take the initiative to reach out as well. Beautiful school helping our children grow with boundaries.

Excellent school, pushes towards college and serious about education, often too much homework for our family. Excellent staff but recommend documenting potential problems, as this district likes to 'hide' problems, to keep reputation. Schools clean, not too much negative to say about Montgomery. Has an excellent reputation and is well deserved. Sort of snobby, many parents are that way. This school prides itself on money, how much you have, and which high dollar subdivision you live in. High school is great, but tough for freshman class. Too many sweet kids 'change' that year, but the teachers and counselors are great. Some bad apple teachers, but few mostly new.

What a gem of a school! Terrific and caring administration and staff all work for the betterment of the child. Great teachers and a real team spirit add up to an exceptional education experience for the kids! Lots of parent involvement and a well rounded program for all!
