The academic programs offered are above average for a small school. Sports include basketball, baseball, softball, golf and tennis. Great student/teacher ratio. Kids do matter at this school. Heavy parent/teacher involvement is welcomed and appreciated. Administration is average. Many students go on to attend college. Great community to live in, but job opportunities are not readily available. Strict dress code is enforced. Open campus. Historic building with some modern amenities. Competes in UIL competitions and excels in them. No child left behind is practiced here. Highly recommend. Community is safe, utilities and taxes are high. Small price to pay for a good education for your children.
