How could this parent know or have an opinion on if everyone is treated equal? This once again proves my point....focal point fine arts!
This is a great school! Very tough and lots of homework, it's not a school for a lazy child thats for sure! I feel that my child will be prepared when its time for high school! The work load in math is completely different so be prepared. Everyone is treated equally, and the orchestra program is one of the best you will find!
Im a seventh grader going here and I love it. There are many electives (classes) to choose from, a wonderful athletic department (im starting defensive end and "Y" receiver this year), and an amazing fine arts department. The teachers are kind, and are always looking to help. I just got home from one of the socials which are really fun,...if you know what i mean. (wink)
this school is just plain average. the coaches are great. but students here are way too up tight and need to learn to relax more. it also was a very tough school. which may be a good thing. until the students begin to feel pressured. The parents need to chillax more too.
I went to this school and i loved it. i met some of my greatest friends here. the teachers were also friendly.
This school is overall an above average school. It does however have some issues. There is a teacher that provided things for some students and not for others. After several months of correspondence, we finally decided to escalate it to the principal. The principal made the necessary interventions, but stated she could not believe anything negative could have occurred even after being presented with the documentation. Leadership should look at situations with an open mind. Not everything is golden.
I had enjoyed Murphy Middle School so much when I was their. 6th through 8th grade were the best years of my life. The athlete coaches there really do care about their athletes and have many city championships. This school help me become the person I am today.
What a wonderful school! My son just blossomed here. The teachers and administration and parental involvement are all superb. The Theater department is the best to be found.
Murphy is the best middle school and the greatist for fine arts tha music program has won so many awards and the drama owns. We were awarded CITY CHAMPS. The athletics progam also beats out everyother school. No matter how you put it Murphy is the best in Academics,Sports,Fine Arts, and meeting diffrent and new people. The teachers at first seem hard but after while they get to know you they will inspire you so much and change your life. Mrs. Manley we miss you, and Mrs.Ashton we love you -thanks for reading
This is an excellent school to attend! I went there for three years, and enjoyed middle school. The building is beautiful, and many of the teachers are great! The arts programs, such as Orchestra, and Theatre, are excellent. While I sometimes found many of the rules strict, I had a wonderful middle school experience at Murphy.
