I am a former student of Bazos River Charter School. It was a wonderful experience. The teachers inspire you and help you find a love of learning. The work is at your own pace, so no student will ever be left behind. I am now a senior in college and will become an elementary school teacher in less than a year. I am proud to say I graduated from this school.

I am a former student of Brazos River Charter School and I found the school very benificial when I could no longer comform to the requirements of regular school. Though I didn't have to work as hard in this school, I was able to complete my high school diploma. I now plan to attend college.

i am a former student of BRCS i went there for 3 years and graduated at the top of my class 1 year early. i love this school. i allows students to learn the courses without all of the extracurriculars that most never use. it's lack of extracurricular activities also diminishes the 'social groups' found in a public high school. most everybody at BRCS get along because there is not the pressure of a clique, that helps students do better in their school work. i really helps to be in a school where there's enough teachers to actually give the students the individual attention the they need to excel. i love this school so much and i'm so glad it was there for me when i needed another school environment. i highly recommend this school for any student who needs a better learning environment.

Brazos River Charter School is an excellent alternative to your typical public school system. They offer the specilized attention that some students require, whether it be academic attention or just a simple 'hi, good to see you today, Matt!' Students at BRCS are more academically and socially accepted and sucessful at BRCS than your typical public school system.

I have had one child graduate from Brazos River Charter School and another child that will be starting his second year as a junior there. I believe this school provides an excellent education program to the students. The student to teacher ratio is very small, allowing teachers the opportunity to become better acquainted with the students, as well as the opportunity to spend additional time with the students. The teachers and staff are very dedicated to their work. I don't know of another school in the area that does a better job. While a charter school may not be the answer for every student, this school offers a wonderful learning experience to students that were not happy in the public school atmosphere. The Brazos River Charter School has offered my children a safe, learning environment with all the academic opportunities of a public school, just with out many of the pressures of a public school. I can t say enough positive things about the school or the staff and the best part is - my son thinks it s a great place too!
