Coming from a different private school in another city to public NBISD was a huge mistake. NBMS was terrible so I enrolled my children into NBCA & we have had the most pleasant experience. My children are happier, their academics are far more superior than NBMS. Everyone at NBCA are friendly. They really helped my daughter cone from a terrible experience from MBMS & helped get thru very hard transitionbeibg she was so shy & made her feel welcomed.NBCA really upholds wonderful Christian values. I would recommend NBCA to everyone!

This school is run by a board who makes their own decisions based on their needs and not on what is good for the students. They would rather send out gift cards to graduated student than pay off their 2,000,000 dollar debt. this school used to be great but since new managment came around.... it has declined rapidly. i went to this school for 5 years, and graduated. When i graduated the school had changed. The athletic director that had been there for 15 or more years, was demoted because he "didn't have a college degree" and if he didnt have a degree then the school would not have became certified. This turned out to be false and the power hungry board(mostly 4 people) wanted him demoted for their own personal gain. As i look back to when i first came to this school... i am now ashamed to say that i graduated from here. This school needs to remap from the bottom up, then i might become proud again to be an alumni.

I am an alumni from this high school and am sad to say that those years at NBCA were a waste of time and money, students are far better off in the local public schools. Most of the time students are enrolled to have a "private school education" however this school is VERY lacking in the academics. Transitioning into college has been very difficult with many graduates being the ones without college credit whether dual credit or even passing the AP tests. The school also has a double standard mostly for the students of the semi-wealthy who "donate." There are constantly graduates parading around campus for around 3 or so hours and even parents come by daily and some for 3+hours. The administration and board have no boundaries or limits to their "power" and have even violated their own bylaws throughout these years. The school is not a Christian based school no matter what they feed you or the students do, I was unaware of how below average our academics were until I started college and am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this school to other people because what they present on the outside is far different from what is provided on the inside.

We had our children at this school for years. It was a beautiful, Christ-centered institution. However, major changes took place almost 2 years ago and it is now a different place. They recently laid off many, many teachers. I don't believe their significant decline in enrollment is just about the economy. I won't go into the details, but if you are considering this school, I highly recommended looking into it EXTRA carefully. Ask lots of questions.

This is an awesome school dedicated to the development of the students both academically and morally. My two children have attended for five years and will graduate from NBCA. NBCA has taken a "new direction" this past year with new admistration and was recently accredited by the Asscociation of Christian School International. We as a family are very excited about this. A buddy day is offered for those considering enrolling. This is a day where your kid(s) can "shadow" another student for the day to see how they like it and to meet the teachers, etc. My kids did this and loved it. The students were very kind and welcoming. The sports program is awesome as well. Average athletes like mine get sufficient playing time. Academics, sports, extracurricular, and morally-it's all there. I would encourage you to check out this school.

Their PTO only meets 3 times a year and focuses solely on fund raisers. Very 'old school' values which support the husband being the primary factor in success of the family. You are required to sign a one year contract for enrollment. You are not allowed out of your contract 'just because you don't agree with the school's teaching'.
