Mrs. Debbie Hill is the most wonderful teacher my child has ever had. She is very compassionate about the success of all of her students; each student is important to her. Mrs. Hill is fun, creative, highly intelligent and a wonderful teacher. Anyone would be very lucky to have their child in her class!

My child has encountered great difficulty in reading but her teacher has been extremely supportive. I met with her, the principal and my child and it was mutually agreed to have her receive additional tutoring supports. This small group tutoring is assisting her and hopefully she will be able to progress to the third grade with her peers in May. I am concerned with her self esteem issues that arise when a child knows that he/she is not performing to the degree of others but they are doing the best of their ability. I want my daughter to know that everyone has strength and weaknesses and some things which come easier to her, may not be easier to another. I appreciate the communication, feedback and on-going commitment to developing a strong foundation for my daughter from all.

I adore the staff, and administration at Lone Star Elem! My 2nd grader has made so much progress in all academic areas this year. She reads above her level, and is confident in her math abilities.
