My grandson was in Ms. Johnson kindergarten class and he loved her, she was AWESOME at communicating with me. Principal and Vice Principal are very hands on. I enjoyed everything they have to offer.

My daughter loved that school she was so sad to leave when we had to move she is now in 6th grade and she said that it is so easy because they learned a lot of 6th grade things in 5th grade

We have wonderful teachers who are always putting the childrens learning and interests first. It is a great place to be.

Burnet is a wonderful school! I have a kinder and 5th grader there. I have to say that my 6 y/o's teacher is wonderful!!! She is very cool and laid back, but very firm. She handles her kids WELL!! I would recommend ANYONE to her!! My daughter looks forward to school each day because the teacher makes it fun. She always comes home and tells me what they did new that day. My 5th grader loves her teachers. They get to switch classes for 3 subjects. It seems to help the kids in being organized. I say they could send less homework home for them, but then I guess they wouldn't be doing their jobs. Overall, Burnet is great! I wouldn't change my kids to another school.

Wonderful school. We moved our children this year from another school that had a pre-k program. I continue to be impressed by the improvement each of our 3 children have made. The KG is the most impressive. Wonderful teachers! NO COMPARISON to the last school. I can't brag enough.

In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History.
