I think Pewitt is, overall, a good school system. The teachers teach wonderfully and get down to a level where the students understand.
Pewitt CISD as a whole is a tremendous district. The teachers and administration care about the students and their successes in the classroom and in extracurricular activities. In comparison to other local schools, there is no comparison. Pewitt offers a nice environment that is conducive to learning and many opportunities to be successful from sports, band, cheerleading, one-act play, music, student counsel, and many many more. I give Pewitt CISD A's all away across the board!
I believe that Pewitt is basically a good school. Be advised - from the Superintendent down, Sports is the key to excellence @ Pewitt.
School is great. Teacher to student ratio is good. The students learn a lot from this school.
