Deweyville High School

Most of the teachers, except a small handful, do not care about their jobs or your education. Many times you will see teachers playing on their cell phones and if you try to ask or tell them something while they are on their phones, you get a dirty look and is told to tell them. There is a lot of bullying and fights that are never attended to. The principal (no matter what) will always be on the teachers side, even if the teacher admittes that they were in wrong. I would not recommend this school to anyone, because of the racism and lack of respect for others. Everybody you hear the *N" word and if you have any Afrcian American friends, you might as well be perpared so the worst bullying of your life.

I am currently a senior at Deweyville High School and I love the school and school district. I think it is a great place to go to school. There are a variety of classes to take, honors classes available, and we have a growing athletics program. We do not have many discipline problems like some schools have. I feel completely safe at school everyday. Would recommend this school to anyone.

Went to Deweyville for 3 years. The school is great! The teachers are committed to helping the students with assignments. I believe that Deweyville High is the best! The cafeteria has great food! Way to go Deweyville ISD!

I think Deweyville is a great school. I loved Mr. Sessions & he was a great principle. Mr. Gibson is a great principle & he came in as a new person from a whole different town & he cleaned up a lot of the trouble kids. He has great control over the kids. The teachers are great with the kids. I love the small community with everyone knowing everyone & most all getting along. It makes it great @ schhol events. Keep up the good work DEWEYVILLE!!!

I personally love Deweyville High School. I am a Junior there and have 5 honors classes out of 7 classes and I believe that the teachers try to prepare you for college while trying to equipe you with the tools you need to pass the TASK(Texas Assesment of Knowlegde and Skills) Test. At the moment I am ready to take a college course over the summer and a few next year. I also LOVE the fact that Deweyville ISD doesn't have much discipline problems nor do we have to have Police Officers at every entrance to the builings.

I honestly would not send a child to Deweyville. The students do not seem to learn much more than how to pass the aptitude tests the state deems mandatory. The only reason I have a son in this school is because he chose to go there to finish high school with his classmates.

I think this is a graet school. All the teachers are concern about the kids and work great with them. Mr. Sessions is one of the best principals we have ever had at our high school.I Can't wait to get in the new high school.Lets all work together and make Deweyville High School number 1 school in Texas. I think this is a good school.had 2 kids gradaute from there thus far..However there is always room for improvement. This School has a good Principal. Keep up the Good Job.

I Am A Single Mom Of 4 Children... 2 of my kids graduated already from this High School.There is always room for improvement.And that all rules should apply to all Students. over all it's a pretty good school with a great Principal.

Praises to the Deweyville School District! It is a small town school with a great small town closeness. My three children attended there and have done very well. My only complaint is a lack of variety in the extracurricular department. Over all the schools are great.
