Okay...the theory of out principal paying more attention to the teachers then the students is a bundle of crap. My principal, Mrs. Williams, defiantly pays attention to us, and out behavior. The campus may be a bunch of cement and bricks buts it's still an okay building. So what if we aren't as great as Palestine...Palestine isn't that great either.

the buildings aren't in the best of conditions, but the Principle(Mr. Sheppard) is wonderful, and we now have a choir(as of the 2007-2008 school year) It would be better though if we had more support from everyone! :]

The school buildings are in terrible condition as are most of the other campusus in Westwood ISD. It is truly amazing that they haven't been condemned. They do not offer choir in any grade k-12 at this school district. The teachers seem to be motivated to teach the children which is more than can be said for many of the teachers on the elementary school campus. It is truly unfortunate for the children enrolled in Westwood ISD. Their educational experience could be greatly improved with a little motivation and funding. True Shame.

Both my sons are currently enrolled at the Westwood Junior High school campus. I have noticed very little support from the school principal. In my opinion, she is there for the teachers and not the students. Also the counselor has not met one time with either of my sons to discuss there experiences or plans. I have brought this to the attention of the Superintendent with no success in resolving the problems. I am removing my sons from this school and placing them in Jacksonville school district.
