Alexander Middle School

Interestingly I have, along with several other concerned highly educated parents, made highly negative inputs for AMS and they have all disappeared following some probing and near threatening correspondents from supposedly greatschools.org employees/rep\representatives. Issues such as unchecked bullying condoned by even school office staff and actively ignored by the leadership staff as well as favoritism for advanced class placement and more. I m concerned now that this .org is falling to manipulation by the ISDs who make their revenue from unsuspecting families using such sites to help make decisions for schooling. shame on greatschools.org for allowing this to happen and putting our children at risk. using personal emails for this site has become a liability to personal privacy.

Alexander Middle School has been a wonderful place for my children to grow and learn. The entire staff helped ease the transition from elementary to middle school. My youngest child will start at Alexander in the fall. At first I was considering the GT academy, but there is NO way that I would let him miss out on the opportunities that are in front of him at Alexander. The rules are strict, the academics are rigorous, and I'm 100% happy with Alexander Middle School.

I think this is one of the best schools in the district. This shows by all of the awards and the exemplary ratings the school has received since it opened 4 years ago. I am proud that my child went there and know for a fact that they put the children's welfare above all (even when parents tend to not agree sometimes). Alexander has a very high passing rate and this is due to the individual attention that is given to each student and having his or her individual needs addressed. It is truly a school which embodies what all schools should try to obtain. In fact that's why Alexander Middle School is a "School to Watch".
