I will put my child in a charter school, teacher spends most of the time scolding the unruly kids than teaching.

my review is mainly due to my child teacher being a first year teacher who does not know how to handle kids this age. He constantly yells at them which does not help.

I can't really say, my child is doing really well so far but it's just KG, too early to tell.

I guess instilling fear in the kids is one way of getting them to respect you.

I've seen the vice-principal and nurse yell at the kids and treat them like they were a herd of animals. I doubt that will develop any compassion, care or empathy.

there are some decent teachers which do seem to care about the students and try to push them to do their best.

This school is amazing! The same teachers have been on this campus for so many years and for the past 8 I have watched it grow, change, and become better and better. More community involvement would rate this school even higher (come one parents:)) but hey we all have to work right?? I would without a shadow of a doubt move to this area just for this supportive and loving school!

Both of our children attended this school. Superb school and wonderful special education program. Mrs. Beck is the best teacher I've ever encountered and prepared our child with a wonderful foundation to build upon. Kudos to Mrs. Siegel and Mr. Gagne for being so involved with ALL students.

The vice principal greets the children every morning and visits the classrooms on a regular basis. The teaching staff are friendly, caring, and professional. The office staff are friendly and informative.
