This "HIGH SCHOOL" is supposed to help you in being college ready, yet it's staff and administration runs the place as if it were a middle school. With all do respect I have transferred through many high schools and for this to be the one my parents chose for me to stay in, it is clearly the worst. I felt as if nobody gave a rats ass, about helping me get opportunities for my future. In conclusion of all this, GROW UP and DO YOUR JOB.
THE WORST, IN SECRETARIAL PROFESSIONALISM, PLEASE GIVE YOUR STAFF SOME TRAINING. AS A PARENT OF 4 MY KIDS WHO ARE 23, 19, 17, 14. NEVER HAD I EXPERIENCED STAFF EMPLOYEES BEING UNQUALIFIED AS THIS SCHOOL. WITH ALL RESPECT WE ARE FROM LAS MILPAS AREA AND NOT BECAUSE OF THAT DO WE DESERVE LEAST. BUT YOU ALL HIRING THESE INDIVIDUALS SHALL HAVE OTHER STANDARDS TO MAKING SURE THE SCHOOL MEETS SKILLED INDIVIDUALS...
Horrible administration. Ginnie pig school. Make sure your kid is ready for college courses because if he or she flunks out of the class he or she is in it will effect his or her eligibility for financial aid in the future. Many of the students are just being pushed into college classes without any real advisement or knowledge of the college system or knowledge of how financial aid and or how financial aid eligibility really works. Administration is constantly changing which is a testament to its poor leadership. Discipline is an extreme issue at this campus. Their are tons of students constantly walking the halls and not in class. Their pre-ap classes are a joke. They just throw all the kids into pre-ap and expect the brightest students to learn while the worst are distracting/disrupting the class. This school is poorly managed and poorly run and the current principal is simply Dr. King's tool.
Although this is a brand new high school, the entire staff is is extremely committed to the children's education. Their motto is "establishing a legacy of College Readiness". The teacher's provide tutoring as needed, coming in early and staying late.
