My daughter just started this year, and she loves it.. She loves her teachers and the games they play! I've been able to participate in all the school activities except once, and the staff really makes the parents feel welcome.

Both my children and now my grandchildren have been to West Sabine . On the whole you couldn't ask for a better school or more concerned teachers. I was concerned last year that there was no homework given, as I think this keeps the parents aware of what they are studying and the degree of help the child needs. I was told that this was a request of the principal and this concerns me. As a parent I certainly don't want the children buried in homework but I don't think some will over tax the kids. I also felt that the parents were discouraged from being involved because the majority of parents work and have a very hard time attending extracurricular programs during the day or seeing teachers during work hours but we were told not to enter the building before school. Hopefully some of this will be helped this year.

This is a wonderful school my daughter has learned so much here. There are also all types of activities for your children to join. My daughter wasn't very sure about changing from her old school but, this has been one of our best choice concerning her education. I would recomend this school to anyone.
