My son's needs were not met in public school. He has learning disabilities. He was struggling and his self esteem had suffered. At Willow Bend he has one on one help in a caring environment. He maintains an A average now and looks forward to going to school every day! Willow Bend has changed our lives for the better. We are so grateful. We highly recommend this school to any child!
I have been the Admissions Counselor for Willow Bend Academy for six years now. This is an exceptional school to help meet the individual needs of each student. No matter if they are accelerating their education, need remediation of coursework, or have a learning difference, Willow Bend Academy can accommodate them because of the individualized curriculum, structured classroom environment, constant accountability and motivation by faculty. Willow Bend Academy's mission is to provide a quality foundational education so students can master learning, which then equips them to successfully master life.
The teachers at WBA are the real deal! They are dedicated, caring and concerned about the students progress. Most importantly they review the work , making sure the student understands what he/she is doing and teach the students how to plan their studies to help them reach their goals. My husband and I are happy we choose WBA.
Willow Bend Academy is a fantastic school. I have been attending for a while now, and it is a family-like atmosphere where the teachers really care and are there for all students. They care about individuality, and have students set goals to reach while keeping a positive environment for working. They have the most dedicated teachers I have ever met, and it is a excellent place to be. I am glad that I decided to attend this school.
Willow Bend Academy uses curricular materials that fit the student rather than fitting the student into a particular set of materials.
Willow Bend Academy is a TERRIFIC school! It' commitment to educating each student according to his/her learning style has made a tremendous positive impact on our daughter. She loves the teachers, and feels that Willow Bend is the most loving, accepting school environment she's ever experienced. We are grateful for Willow Bend Academy!
I have been a teacher at Willow Bend Academy for the past 11 years and I can honestly say that every teacher has a heart for every student to be successful, both academically and personally. We are unique in that we meet the needs of so many students whose needs cannot be met in a regular classroom setting. We care about each student and want them to feel they are learning and making progress every day. I have loved watching students grow and mature during their time at Willow Bend Academy. I think it is one of the best private schools in the area.
Awesome school! Great curriculum! Very helpful teachers at all times! Your child will never go on to the next assignment or project until they learn to master the one they're working on. I like that! More one on one attention with your student...they aren't just a number here.
My daughter had a great experience at this school. There are all types of students there. My daughter is very smart, but had bad study habits. This school really helped her focus on get her courses completed.
