My Spanish teacher got deported back to mexico. I hated all 3 years of bowman, Most Teachers are excellent however there are some who really seemed like they didn't care. The area The school is in is Fine however sometimes there were police always around. Another thing about bowman I really didn't like was fights, There is teacher controll but kids there still fight I remember once every 3 weeks to a month there would be a fight, There are great students but not all of them have such good study habbits which influence you and those around you. My experience at bowman was bad and I really didn't like it. Plano schools are great however Bowman just wasn't a good experience mainly because of the kids there I guess. My younger sister went to Otto Middle School after which is somewhat near bowman and if you live near bowman you can go to, Which I think is a kindof better choice. The school is much newer and there are kids like in bowman but also a mix of more kids and I don't know but the atmosphere of the school was just better :)

Excellent leadership, teachers, and staff are the driving force that have helped Bowman to improve the overall average. It starts with the person at the top to lead by example thanks to the Principal for making this possible.

Quality of academic programs is excellent for a school on the east side; many activities after school provided; sufficient level of parental involvement;excellent teachers esp. in art and history; excellent principal who reviews programs for all children to make them better.
