Port Aransas High School

My son has gone to Port Aransas schools since 1st grade and he has excelled in everything. He is now in HS and is taking all AP and Honors courses and the teachers are great!! The High School and Elementary got a commended rating and that is the best you can get! I highly recommend this school and town to anyone. There is minimal alcohol abuse and not much drug use. The good thing is, as small as this community is if there is a problem you as a parent know about it before it happens twice!

This school is located on a small island known for its alcohol and drug use. The kids here have no outlets other than hanging at the beach and partying. While its not the school's fault, this is not a great place for your kids.

Port Aransas High School is truly the best public high school in the South Texas region. It provides excellent preparation for higher education and has an outstanding faculty and school leadership.

This school is more than perfect. PAHS is probably one of the best schools in Texas. No fights, no drama, no gangs, no drugs! It is a great school and a great place for your kids to grow up at. It is right on the beach and the police takes very good care of securing our very safe good little island. I love Port Aransas, all of the schools, the administrators, and the people! The administration and the teachers are great and I wouldn't want one of them to leave because PAHS wouldn't be the same without them cause they teach our kids so much and get them ready for college. This is a great school and don't think twice about not putting your kids in this wonderful school!
