I like GPISD because the students are expected to do their best. They are not just given the grade without earning it. Most Schools in GP have been rated very high for years. I am glad my so has the chance to get his education here. What I don't like is that (in any school district) some parents seem to believe their children are above obeying the rules. Plus some children are just not taught any manners. But at GP that is not a REALLY bad problem...just a selected few are that way.

I am very satisfied with the GP Jr High except with the athletics dept. It seems unfair for a student that always has an 'A-B' report card and excellent bahavior passed up in athletics because of other students that have grades 'on the fence' that may be a fraction better in athletics. Or in other cases a athelete may get preference due to siblings or cousins that may be on the High School football team. Seems that the politics still perservere.
