Eastridge Elementary School

My son is in kinder at ERE this year and has enjoyed every minute of it! He is also in the G &T pogram and enjoys that as well. I can not say enough about the quality of education I feel my child is getting. I am very pleased and am looking forward to my daughters 1st year there and crossing my fingers she has the same teacher as my son since we already have a good rapport. The staff is caring all the way around even the lunch room staff. The programs there are outstanding and fun for the kids. wonderful things going on there, check it out for yourself and come see whats going on at ERE!!!

I think that the school is good for the most part. They do work hard at offering a good overall education. I do believe that the over all success of your childs education has much to do with which teacher they are assigned to. My childs kindergarten teacher is up in age (near retirement in my opinion). I've observed her classroom and she lacks the energy to keep up with 5 & 6 year olds. The times that I have spoken with her she just doesn't seem to be very caring. On a positive note, my child has learned lots this school year. I do wish they offered morning/afternoon watch care, after school activities and/or sports.

I think the school is wonderful! there are great teachers and staff with manageable classroom sizes; my children learn a lot and love the school as I do! the only drawback is the lack of after school activities and sports!

Eastridge Elementary is a great school. The Teachers I have come into contact with have been very helpful and great with the children. The staff is very friendly.

This is our third year at Eastridge and I am one of their biggest fans. From the principal to the staff and right down to the parents, I can confidently say that the students at Eastridge have an advocate one way or another because their success and well being is top priority. I continue to be impressed by the caring and professional staff. They also have a very strong PTA following which accomplishes alot for the students and campus. Eastridge and its staff are also very good about keeping some fun in school too. With so much stress on testing anymore, it's nice the kids are also able to create fun memories to remember for years to come.

I absolutley love this school! My kids are excelling in every class and the teachers are wonderful. I would recommend Eastridge to everyone. Both of my kids have been at this school since kindergarten and they are in third and first grades now. I am very glad we moved to this part of Red Oak.

I think Eastridge is a fabulous school! I am on the PTA, and I have been nothing but pleased with my daughter's teachers. I look forward to my son attending kindergarten there in 2 years! Heather Freeman

My son just started at Eastridge he is in Kindergarten. I heard nothing but great things about Eastridge in the past and I cannot say enough great things about it now that we are here. The teachers are incredible, the new principal is the most dedicated and energetic and the PTA is very involved in helping the kids and the faculty. I am so happy to be a part of this community and above all Eastridge Elementary. I would recommend this school to my closest of friends!

My son went to this school for Kindergarten and we didn't like it. The teachers spend all their time either dealing with the 'problem' students or ignoring them. Not enough extra activities for the kids that want more challenges and are ahead of their classes. There's hardly any parent involvement. We'll be going somewhere else next year.

This is a great school with great teachers. Very close-knit, family-friendly community. Eastridge has a new principal this year and she is doing a great job and has many plans to technically advance this school. The fine arts techer is as good as they come!
